We enjoyed our stay very much. Quiet, restful setting that allows for a relaxing getaway. The historical details are wonderful, from the beautiful paintings, the hallway clock on the 3rd floor and the music being played. The beds are really comfortable and the room temperature perfect. The gardens are so lovely and well maintained. Overall, a lovely and restful experience. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Good food. Would definitely recommend Columbia Gorge Hotel to others. Great choice of hotel that captures the beauty of the Northwest. Property has a stream running right through it only to drop off over 100 feet to the river. Love the cozy fireplace in the lobby. Perfect for enjoying complimentary coffee in the morning. Views are spectacular! Not your typical hotel experience, it's a cut above! The accommodations were great and the staff was very friendly. Devon was really hustling in the bar and Alp was very helpful in making our stay special. Ted puts on a fantastic performance Friday and Saturday nights in Valentino's Lounge and it really makes the whole stay for us. We have stayed there four times now to hear Ted play! My wife and I felt like we were in Eden. The breathtaking views of the river from our room, the wonderful food and drink in the dining room and the friendly and welcoming staff added up to a perfect stay. The historic hotel has been beautifully maintained and the gorgeous grounds are amazing. We look forward to our next visit. Thank you, one and all. Excellent hotel and staff! Will go there again.
