Staying at the five star Elite Plaza Hotel is a true experience. It is situated in the city centre, with walking distance to everything the city has to offer. The hotel opened in 2000 in the beautiful Swea building. The amazing interior, with mosaic floors and fantastic ceilings from 1889, is striking when entering the lobby. Elite Plaza Hotel is a member of Design Hotels and successful in blending modern arts and designs with classical elegance.The restaurant Swea Hof belongs to the hotel and is one of Gothenburg's finest gourmet restaurants.Our 127 hotel rooms, among which 6 are suites, have tastefully been decorated in a classic or modern style. Our two largest suites are the 120 sqm large Maharadja suite, and the 200 sqm large Svea suite.Other room types are Standard, Superior, Deluxe, and Junior suite. All rooms are equipped with mini bar, cable-TV, hairdryer, and safety box. We offer borth wireless Internet and via broadband, and you will receive a free morning paper. If you are staying in a deluxe room or in one of our suites, we are offering you turn down service. Between 7 p.m and 9 p.m we come to your room to close the curtains, remove the bed spred, put a chocolate on the pillow and leave a drink on the table-all to increase the sense of luxury.
