I've stayed at hotels that cost a lot more that were significantly less enjoyable. This hotel is not cheap, it's also not outrageous, more importantly the value for the price is off the charts! When you arrive in your room there is an introductory letter that explains some of the perks. 1) Fill out your breakfast order and leave it on the door hanger with the time you want it delivered the following day.complimentary. 2) Come down each evening for wine and local cheeses and other charcuterie. 3) In the evening they have fresh baked cookies as well as chilled milk. Also a nightcap for those who so choose to partake. 4) I didn't get to this one bc it was mid. August but if I was there in the Fall I would absolutely take them up on their complimentary bikes. Great service from valet to the front desk and beyond. They made great dinner reservations for us each night as well as tours and other activities advice. Absolutely nothing I would change. From the moment we arrived the hotel staff was amazingly attentive and friendly. We loved the offer of welcome champagne, the wine hour with appetizers, homemade cookies, dessert and port before heading to our room for the night and the more than continental breakfast. Think overnight oats, scrambled and hard boiled eggs, fresh berries and fruit, chocolate croissants and other pastries and coffees and teas with Torani syrups and various types of milk on offer.
