This restored historic building is beautiful. We also had an excellent dinner and the staff treated us especially nice. Accommodations were perfect with an absolutely wonderful, helpful staff ! Great rooms and food! We enjoyed our stay! Arrived late and the desk attendant was great! The ladies at check out this morning were polite, informative and helpful! Our room was wonderful. Bed was very very comfortable, bathroom very large and easy to move around in. Had nice plush bathrobes. A lovely historic hotel. All staff were extremely friendly and frequently checked in to make sure everything was satisfactory. We were there on Lobster Weekend and the fresh lobster from Nova Scotia was amazing! Hotel tour was interesting and fun. We were allowed early check in by upgrading to a different room for $10. The rooms were wonderful, the linens, the shower, everything was comfortable. The hotel was very nice. This hotel is an experience. It is lovely. The staff was uniformly great. I had my dog with me and she was treated with kindness and respect. Thank you. We took the tour and it was wonderful. Our host was knowledgeable, up beat and charming. He should go far in hotel management. I'm glad we stayed. It was my birthday present to myself and I enjoyed it totally. We stayed overnight on a trip across the country. This hotel has been the best we've stayed in. Unique, clean and roomy with an amazing aesthetic. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was AMAZING. If we're ever out this way again, this is a must stay!
