Staff was very helpful and friendly. Sent us to a great place to eat and drink that was very close. Staff was very good about calling a cab for the cruise ship. Would stay here again. The owners were extremely kind and helpful, almost like family. They arranged for a cab to take us to restaurant and the port. The rooms were clean and well appointed. This historical America's Best Inn was built in 1933 as a road side motel on Federal Highway, a two lane road between Port Everglades and the International Airport. This major thoroughfare, known as US-1, consists of eight lanes today and old Federal Highway is now a quiet side street. A major renovation was completed in 2005, updating the entire building and it's interior, adding modern technology to the charm of old Fort Lauderdale.Our standard queen room feature one queen bed outfitted with a comfortable and clean bedding package with a duvet and plenty of fluffy pillows.
