The Heritage Hotel, Golf, Spa & Conference Center sits on 70 acres near the Litchfield Hills of Connecticut, almost directly in the center of the state and thus a great location midway between New York and Boston from which to explore everything from the seaside to the Appalachian Mountains. The New England countryside with lush forests, meandering rivers and rolling hills sets the tone of this 163 room hotel with an onsite 9 hole golf course and adjacent 18 hole course, 2 heated salt water swimming pools (one indoor), expansive health club, spa with 7 treatment rooms, 23 meeting rooms in the IACC Certified Conference Center, plus New England style pub for dining and entertainment pleasures. A small vineyard with specially selected varietals of grapes has recently been added. Nearby attractions are the Quassy Water Park, many running, hiking and cycling trails, the Litchfield Distillery, the antiques trail. a brewery trail and a small ski mountain. The hotel hosts over 70 weddings each year proving to be a popular destination wedding venue. The stone garden provides a unique ceremony setting while Timbers offers a unique rustic yet elegant room for receptions up to 250 persons. Smaller, but equally unique rooms, are perfect for more intimate events. The hotel offers Complete Meeting Packages (CMP) making the planning of meetings, training programs, conferences simple and all-inclusive pricing. From an executive Board Room to a 4,300 sq ft Ballroom, the hotel's meeting facilities are great from groups of 10 to 250 persons. Modern audio visual equipment is built-in and our in-house technician can satisfy every technical requirement. The meeting rooms have solid walls thus eliminating incident noise from adjacent meetings when air-walls are in place.
