The Concorde Opera's status as a landmark of cultural and artistic significance was confirmed in 1989 with the meticulous restoration of the grand foyer and its classification as an historical monument. Situated within the heart of the '3 Parises'- the business district, the cultural quarter and the famous shopping areas of the Boulevard Haussmann the Concorde Opera enjoys a truly privileged location.From its imposing, yet elegant exterior one enters the monumental hall, which, in keeping with the hotel's grand origins, boasts jewel encrusted columns of pink granite. The Lobby, impressively styled in the Baroque tradition with mirrors, bronze and crystal chandeliers and marble pillars is adorned with paintings and sculptures specially commissioned from artist Charles Joseph Lameire. The new furniture in the lobby is the work of the famous designer Hierro.
