Hotel was quiet and cozy. Pool was clean, towels were plentiful, supplied sun screen and gel. Staff was very friendly. The Malibu is a 25 Unit facility with 10 Motel Rooms (sm fridge), 12 Studio Apartments (sm Kitchenette), and 2 one Bedroom Apartments (Kitchenette, LR/DR combo with sleeper sofa and private Queen Bedroom. All units are carpeted, have ceramic tile bathrooms with full size tub/showers, individual climate control heat and A/C Units, ceiling fans, cable TV and individual outside room seating areas for relaxing or smoking as our rooms are non smoking. We do accept small well mannered Dogs. We have 20'X40' seasonally heated pool with a generous shaded lounging area, BBQ grill available to guests to use and a wonderful playground for children as well as a dog walk just behind the motel. Our Manager lives onsite for that peace of mind and security. This area of Florida boasts sunshine an incredible 98% of the time, giving it one of the highest sunshine rates in the country. While the Malibu is directly on beach trolley line, it is only a short walk to Redington Long Fishing Pier (extends over 1000 ft into the Gulf), Hair salons, gift shops, family and fine dining restaurants , convenience stores and low key night life. Many of the restaurants offer a "Pooch Patio" for your best friend to join you.The Malibu offers an outstandingly affordable vacation value and you can join us in the mornings for coffee and friendly conversation.
