The Mountaineer Lodge is nestled in a pine forest with tremendous views of Mount Temple and its summit glacier. The Lodge has the feel of mountain seclusion yet is easily accessed from the Trans Canada Highway and is a scenic 5 minute walk from a variety of services and shopping in the village of Lake Louise, Alberta. The mountain and glacier ringed lake that is the world-famous "Lake Louise" is only a short distance up the hill from the Lodge The Mountaineer Lodge consists of two buildings (original building and lodge building) with a total of 78 rooms in various room types to comfortably accommodate couples, families or vacation groups.
