Our stay was not pleasant. We had difficulty finding the motel as we arrived after dark and the outside lights were not on. No one was at the front desk to check in and we had to call a number which was on a note at the front desk to get someone to come and check us in. The room had a terrible odor, it smelled like urine. The refrigerator was noisy when it ran all night long. So noisy I had to use ear plugs to sleep. The complementary breakfast was sparse with only, a few packets of cereal and biscuits and gravy provided. The biscuits were gone by 6:30 AM with no more provided. It was very cold in the breakfast room and I carried my breakfast back to the room. I would have asked for another room or gone to another motel but there was a sporting event in the area and all rooms were booked. Fine hotel. Comfy bed. Very nice staff. In 2006, our hotel had a complete renovation, inside and outside and is in perfect condition, situated next to Kansas Turnpike in well-lit area.
