We were pleasantly surprised and will recommend it to our friends who regularly travel up and down Interstate 75. Opened Summer, 2008, Comfort Suites is ranked in the country's top 17% of Likelihood to Recommend by guest surveys. All rooms are studio suites with a full-sized sleeper sofa separated by a half-wall from the sleeping area, work desk with free internet access, microwave, fridge, iron & board, coffee maker, and flat panel TV. Rooms have either one king bed or two queen beds. Guests enjoy the use of the indoor pool, hot tub & fitness room as well as the free business center for checking emails and keeping up with online activities.330 square feet of meeting space may be used for small gatherings, meet & greet events, or business meetings.Comfort Suites is the closest mainland hotel to Jekyll Island's beaches, historic district, and convention center. All rooms open to an interior corridor. The hotel is 100% smoke free.
