Grey Nuns is a beautiful and impressive historical building that is the best kept secret for affordable group housing and low-budget travelers coming to Montr├®al! Situated in the heart of downtown steps from restaurants, museums and shops, the building functions as residences for Concordia University students during term time and is available to rent by the public from May to mid-August. The former nunnery, dating back to 1871 was renovated in 2013 and offers clean, bright, spacious rooms both with shared and ensuite bathrooms. There are numerous large lounge areas with cable TV that groups can use free of charge, games rooms and cooking and laundry facilities. Catering and conference facilities are also available. The large garden area offers space for picnics and play - a tranquil oasis in the heart of a bustling city centre. Car and bus parking are available onsite.

YUL (Pierre Elliot Trudeau) airport is a 30min - 1 hour car ride (depending on traffic). A shuttle (Bus 747) is available from and to the airport at regular intervals. The shuttle stops at the corner of Guy/Rene-Levesque, which is a half a block from our building. The cost of the shuttle is 10$ in coins, or a Daily Bus Pass. Is there an airport shuttle?
