My husband and I were participating as out of town guests at a large family gathering at a resort in the mountains when he suffered a serious cardiac event which resulted in him and I being transported by ambulance to Mission Hospital in Asheville. I stayed with him overnight then learned that he would be admitted. It could have been a choatic experience but I managed to reserve a room in a very busy Country Inn & Suites. Each day was challenging with all the tests and procedures that happened at the hospital so we were unclear about how or what might happen moving forward. Each day was uncertain but the staff of this hotel was well aware of this and made it their business to work with me. That lifted such a weight from me and my family knowing that I was the only family left in Asheville. The hotel staff was AMAZING, courteous, efficient, professional and kind. The accommodations were perfect under the circumstances. It turned out that he needed a pacemaker surgery. Thank you, thank you for helping my husband, me and all of my family during our critical time of need. My husband and I were from out of town attending a major family event just north of Ashville, NC. On the second day, he suffered a heart attack. The EMTs took us via ambulance to the hospital in Ashville. Once he was admitted I found the Country Inn & Suites. True experience could have been total chaos if it weren't for the staff at this hotel. They were AMAZING. So supportive and respectful and responsive to my needs as I was unsure of what might happen from day to day. The facility was outstanding. I felt safe. It was a sanctuary at the end of each day when we weren't sure of what would happen the next day. After the 3rd day he had surgery. And we were pleased that the staff made it possible for us to have a quiet, comfortable place to decompress after he was dis charged from the hospital and before I had to drive us home though ATL! Thank you, thank you SOOO much for being there when we absolutely needed support! Friendly front desk and housekeeping. Fairly clean nice looking and comfortable hotel. Front desk supplies most all your needs. Breakfast was okay. thanks for being dog friendly. Wonderful amenities, pool, breakfast. Nice staff. Good location for eats and Earth Fare grocery.
