Staff was friendly and the room was very clean. Outstanding Time Excellent! Wonderful time; loved the hotel. Everything was perfect. From the check in to the room to the restaurant to everything close downtown. We ate at a local eatery for lunch, dinner at the excellent restaurant in the hotel and saw a wonderful play at a local theater with local actors and singers. We didn't have to move the car until we left. It was amazing. The General Morgan Inn is a privately-owned, independent hotel catering to the needs of our guests for decades. Our 51 beautiful guest rooms and suite are located in the heart of Greeneville's Historic District. Located in the Inn is Brumley's Restaurant, featuring an exquisite art-deco mirror originally purchased in the 1940s. Brumley's dining rooms easily accommodate couples for a romantic dinner, small families sharing stories over lunch, or even large groups of friends enjoying each other's company. With easy access to all major travel corridors in East Tennessee, the General Morgan Inn and Brumley's Restaurant and Lounge are located in the heart of Greeneville's Historic District.
