Love this hotel. We stay here every time we come to Winston Salem. Receptionists are always helpful and caring. Hotel always smells awesome. This is my second time staying here. I love it! The staff is very courteous, professional and helpful. Housekeeping was very friendly and helpful. Everything is so neat, clean and shiny. I was in town for the Masonic Order of the Eastern Star Grand Chapter celebration. This is my go to place to stay. The price is just right and affordable. Thanks, Guys, see you next year! I ended up staying at Hawthorne Inn when the usual hotel I stay at in Winston Salem was full. I was pleasantly surprised by the accommodations. I had a wonderful night's rest. Although the hotel decor and building are old, the elevator is speedy and the rooms very quiet. The staff was most accommodating especially when I had a problem with my room key. I elected to pay the $10 for a hot breakfast in lieu of the complimentary continental fare and it was delicious even to my fussy palate. My only regret is not having time to lounge by their quaint pool. Room fine and clean. The staff was courteous. The room was clean and comfortable and the location near Old Salem was perfect! Hotel is very clean and friendly staff, very clean, food was great, service was wonderful. We have always been happy with the Hawthorne Inn. Clean rooms and friendly staff. I stayed at the Hawthorn 18 years ago when I had surgery and the service was excellent as was this time when my husband had his surgery. I would recommend the Hawthorne to friends.
