Very nice hotel. The Hotel Winneshiek offers 34 guest rooms and suites located above and around an octagonal three-story lobby, canopied by a 14' x 14' stained glass skylight. The stately entrance foyer features a brass chandelier, marble fireplace, and exquisite millwork that truly make this hotel Decorah's pièce de rèsistance. The elegant cherry wood grand staircase extends from the lobby to the third floor. Two large elevators access each of the two guest floors, with guest rooms and suites clustered around the open atrium. King, Queen, and Two Queen rooms, and several different sized suites are available for the leisure traveler, the corporate guest, the conference planner, or tour groups. Amenities include complimentary parking and WiFi, coffee makers, hairdryers, upgraded toiletries and large fluffy terry towels.
