Beach, Historic District
Had a great visit and look forward to our next trip to this beautiful island. The Jekyll Island Club Hotel was built in 1887 as a private hunting club for the wealthy industrialists from the North. Members included Rockefeller, Pulitzer, Morgan and Vandebuilt, just to name a few. We are located 1 hour north of Jacksonville Florida and 1 hour south of Savannah Georgia; Jekyll Island is easily reached by a causeway.Our largest ballroom can acommodate 120 classroom or 160 banquet set up. Activities include fishing, touring the historic district, horseback riding on the beach, 64 holes of golf, and 24 miles of bicycling trails.

We are 50 minutes from the Jacksonville Florida airport; 20 minutes from Brunswick Georgia; Hour and half from Savannah Georgia Airport Shuttle? Yes! There is an airport shuttle.
