Stay was nothing less than excellent. Staff is incredible. Beautiful hotel, staff was very friendly, lovely rooms! I went with my family and had a wonderful time. The staff was always nice and kind, the location put us right in the middle of the fun and next to the water and the facilities had plenty of places to eat and things to do. If visiting Savannah, this is definitely where I would recommend someone to stay. This hotel is definitely five star from the staff to the ambience. Wonderful hotel with beautiful pieces of art. Staff is awesome. I would gladly come back to stay at this beautiful hotel again. Surprised my wife with Leanne Morgan tickets in Savannah, GA. I believe she was just as much in awe of the JW Marriot as she was the comedian's performance (and she loves Leanne Morgan). We had a room with a river view that was scenic and comfortable. Most restaurants were just a walk away and shopping was so convenient! The hotel lobby was so fascinating from geodes to dinosaurs to primitive bear skeletons. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The level of luxury will be difficult to equal in our future travel endeavors! After a 27 hour drive we decided to stop in Savannah. With no reservation, we took our chance at JW Marriot. At the reception desk, Melting Sea Williams was very kind and understanding on how tired we were and helped me book a room though the app. I appreciate what she did to quickly get us a room and get comfortable after the long drive. All the staff and valet staff were wonderful. Just an overall great experience! Riverside view was fabulous! Arli on front desk was awesome. Very nice place. Wonderful! Very nice hotel and services. We ate at District Seafood and the fried shrimp was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the JW Marriott; the service was great. A veru good hotel. Very nice stay! Excellent greeted with champagne and cookies, bell hop brought our luggage up to us. We requested a balcony room upgrade and without hesitation made it happen. Let us stay in a room until our preferred room was ready. So professional and went over on hospitality! We will only stay here when we visit Savannah in the future.
