Lovely room. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff. Great location. Will be back! Our stay was fine. Everything was clean and comfortable. I have been staying in a lot of hotels over the past year. La Quinta is now my "go to." Our truck broke down on a mountain pass. After being towed into town to a mechanic, we were stranded with two dogs and it was dark. We called a clearinghouse for reservations and were delighted to find that La Quinta accepts dogs and doesn't charge high prices for the privilege of bringing well behaved pets. When we got to our hotel, the people behind the front desk were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was great! When we found out our truck would require another night's stay, the new people behind the desk were just as wonderful as the first "welcomers." I don't know if this is the case at every La Quinta, but all of the details for comfort and welcome were taken care of at our hotel (La Quinta on South Vista in Boise, Idaho). There were bags of treats and a water bowl for our dogs. Leashes hanging on hooks by the door to the dog area. Well stocked doggie clean up bags in the dispenser outside. The breakfast room was clean and stylish with good food and there were games and puzzles in a bookcase for easy access. We will always look for a La Quinta as we travel from this point on. Our little "truck problem" resulted in our finding a company that deserves our loyalty.
