Breakfasts were awesome, the Tremaine Bar was great for dinner. Had the potpie and brisket, really special. The hotel was clean, and the room were clean and comfortable. Beautiful We used the restaurant for lunch, dinner and breakfast. Awesome food, drinks and service! We really enjoyed the location of the hotel and got a kick out of the sunset on the grounds. Will not hesitate to recommend the Lakeside Hotel. Facility is located in a historical area walking distance from the town with a multitude of shops and restaurants with a variety of culinary options. There is plenty of activities to include boating, fishing and hiking. The boat Eco tour was excellent and was accessible right from the property. The Inn restaurants (the Veranda, main dining area and Pub were all very good with excellent service). Other than that, we had an enjoyable experience. Everyone on the property and in the town was so nice and pleasant. The location is perfect for access to everything in the historic downtown. The bar opens early and has wonderful service for foods and drinks. Service at check-in was goodvery helpful. Complimentary coffee is available each morning. Parking was okay. Sunset was just beautiful and watching children enjoy the open courtyard was incredible. We had an amazing stay! Absolutely lovely, charming, beautiful room, pool, view and the sweetest, friendliest staff! The suite worked out so perfectly and Mount Dora is so quaint and cute! We were within walking distance to everything we needed and are very pleased with our experience. The Inn's historical charm did NOT disappoint! The grounds are beautiful. The staff was very accommodating. A visit to the Lakeside Inn in Mt. Dora is time travel of the most privileged sort.
