The Hotel is a former Agip Motel, a modern exampleof an american concept of sleepingwich was designed in Italy by Enrico Mattei and realized on a national scale by the architect Gellner.We asked ourselves what would be the natural evolution of the Motel in 2000 and the answer was clear: STREETART.May 2015. TELLAS and LUCAMALEONTE dialogue together in the idea of transform the building into a gigantic environmental sculpture.HOTEL ARCA has thus been wrapped in a magnificent mural intervention that represents the olive tree (TELLAS) and the sacred symbols of Umbria (LUCAMALEONTE).The work, part of the Collicola Onthewall Outdoor porject inaugurated the interventions on the territory of Palazzo Collicola Arti Visiveand constitutes, according to the will of the director Gianluca Marziani, the first satellite work of a museum collection thatbextends beyond the museum's borders.
