Our accommodations are located on the second and third floor of our colonial style mansion. We are a riverfront resort, only 60 feet away from the beautiful emerald green river. Our guests have access to taxi's to and from the town. Our units do not have kitchen, but we do have a restaurant onsite. Yes, we have grills that you can use if you would like. Our air conditioned Rooms and Suites boast romantic, spacious atmosphere and luxurious comfort. All rooms and suites offer breathtaking river and canopy views, hand carved mahogany beds, 10 feet high ceilings, tropical hardwood floors, Cable television with 140 channels, in room wireless internet. Our rooms are furnished with intricately hand carved queen sized mahogany beds. With sleep-inducing cloud nine mattresses, you will find yourself resting in tranquility. Our air conditioned Deluxe Suites are absolutely gorgeous with private, in room Jacuzzi on the third floor and complimentary gourmet coffee and/or tea in suite in the mornings. At any time step off the deck and swim in the crystalline waters of the mighty Mopan River, or our fresh water infinity pool, complete with its own unique waterfalls. At our unique Colonial Mansion, we provide personalized service, catering to our guests wants and needs. Complimentary gourmet coffee and teas are available for the early risers on the communal balcony overlooking the pristine jade waters of the Mopan on the second floor, where books and games are available. You may soak in the panoramic view overlooking the mighty Mopan River, the trade route of the Mayas. This is where you can see two different varieties of Toucans, Amazonia parakeets, four different species of parrots when they make their daily breakfast visit on the nearby 'Stinking Toe', Bukut tree. Meals and refreshments are available at our Fabulous ÔÇô Rico's Restaurant and Bar; where Bloody Mary's and Rompope on the rocks are available to you at breakfast. Meals are not included in the room rate. We serve freshly prepared breakfast, lunch and dinner. Rico's is located on premises, on the first floor, with comfortable furnishings ideal for relaxation at the bar or starlit dining with river view on the veranda. At Rico's Restaurant and Bar you are enticed and fulfilled with chef's Mayan/Caribbean fusion creations, using organic farm fresh produce and free range eggs. If you have a special recipe, you would like, being personalized, the chef will prepare your special request. Of course early notice is needed. There is a special place here for everyone, including vegetarians. In addition to the greatest Mayan/Caribbean fusion creations, there are various choices of fine wines, spirits, local and imported, or fresh tropical drinks such as Sorrel, Horchata and Tambrand. We are located in Bullet Tree Falls Village on the banks of the Mopan River, the trade route of the Mayan civilization just about 10 minutes drive (5 miles) from San Ignacio. The road is all paved except for the last half mile. We are two hours from Belize International Airport or Belize City. We are in the center for most majestic Mayan ruins and Mayan underworld cave systems. Our in-house tour/activities coordinator will be able to assist with information, finding the tours to match your interest and facilitating you with knowledgeable guides to assure a wonderful adventure. We can arrange transportation for you from the international airport.
