The Morangie House Hotel is a fine Victorian Mansion set on the northern outskirts of the Highland town of Tain, one of Scotland's oldest boroughs. The hotel has been extensively modernised and is tastefully decorated to maintain the character of the building. Of real interest is the superb collection of Victorian stained glass windows in many of the public rooms and hallway. Each of the 26 en-suite bedrooms is furnished to a very high standard with colour television, direct dial telephone, internet, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. The area is excellent for the outdoor enthusiast as there is fishing, shooting, hillwalking or exploring the wonderful northern Highlands. Tain has a first class golf course and hotel residents are granted discounted golf fees. The world famous championship course at Dornoch is only 10 minutes drive away. The famous Glenmorangie distillery is only half a mile from the Morangie House.
