Penn Wells Historic Hotel should market the pictures on the dining room walls. The staff was excellent. A picture of Joan Crawford was a classic! The hotel has style! Great atmosphere. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was happy to assist with questions. Great location in a beautiful little town! The service was great and everyone was nice; loved the location! The room was clean. One goes for the experience at this century hotel! The staff and Wellsboro inhabitants gave us a big welcome! There were lots of towels. The included breakfast was very good. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We have both a lodge and hotel. Hotel is historic, has 3 floors, restaurant and lounge. Lodge is more modern has 2 floors, indoor swimming pool and fitness center. They are just 1 1/2 blocks away from each other, both in downtown Wellsboro.
