Close to Chateau Morrisette Winery, Blue Ridge Parkway, Dixie Caverns, Historic Smithfield Plantation. Golf courses close include: Auburn Hills, Pete Dye River Course, Draper Valley, and Hanging Rock. As well as Claytor Lake State Park, Mountain Lake "Dirty Dancing" location & Jefferson National Forest.
Nice location. Our overall experience was good. The people working there could not have been any nicer. They were very kind to us and our dog. The ladies in the front office were welcoming and really took the time to make our family feel welcome. Robert checked us in and was very accommodating to our needs. Very comfortable bed and the room was clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room and fluffy towels. Will book again when traveling I-81. This the second time we have stayed at this Quality Inn. Both times the room, breakfast provided and the customer service were excellent. We are planning to stay here each return trip from Tennessee. Thanks again to everyone at this hotel for making us feel right at home. Bed was comfortable. We were looking for a place to stay on a spontaneous trip to Blacksburg, Virginia. We had our dog with us. I called around, the Quality Inn had the best rate, it was easy to book online, I called from a restaurant while having dinner. The room is very clean, bathroom is spotless. Newly renovated! High end rooms without the high end rates. Located directly off I-81 at Exit 118C. Adjacent to Cracker Barrel Restaurant. FREE HOT Breakfast served daily with a rotating menu that always includes: biscuits, eggs, sausage, bacon, or gravy. Cereals, fruits, yogurts, breads, pastries, fresh made waffles, and oatmeal. Fresh Baked cookies served every evening 5-8pm. Each room is equipped with Serta Sleeper mattress, separate vanity area, coffee maker, iron, safe, dryer, and 27" flat screen TVs with expanded cable and HBO. Seasonal outdoor pool, fitness center, business center, meeting room for up to 15 people with A/V and large screen.
