I enjoyed my stay at Red Roof Inn. Good service. Very Pleased. Excellent customer service. Room was very nice and clean. We are a recently renovated motel located right off of the Historic Highway 66. We are only a couple miles from downtown Gallup, NM which has a lot to offer no matter what your interests are. Gallup is the Indian Capital of the world; so if you would like to shop for Native American jewelry, arts & crafts, moccasins, etc; this is the spot. Downtown is full of shops containing the above items and more. If you want an even better taste of Gallup's make-up, catch the weekly flea market every Saturday. It has artisans and cooks from the Navajo, Zuni, Hopi, Acoma & Isleta tribes, as well as ones from Mexico & South America. There are also free nightly Indian dances downtown during the Summer months, which showcase authentic dances from various tribes.If you are an outdoor enthusiast, there are countless beautiful places to hike or bike in and around Gallup.If you are a photographer, you couldn't ask for a better landscape as a subject. You will find amazing rock formations, colors, and some of the best sky and cloud shots in the world.For cowboy buffs, we have a variety of exciting rodeos during the Summer months - Wild Thing Rodeo & Lion's Club Rodeo are the most popular.
