Danny the front desk attendant was superb. He met our expectations and then exceeded them. He was professional yet approachable and personable. He made my stay one of pure enjoyment. I will be coming back because of him. Clean hotel with friendly staff. A great area near restaurants; easy to get around town. We will be back. I was in a terrible position here in Michigan during our recent ice storm. I am a 76 year old woman who lives alone and I found myself without any power and alone. I was directed to this Red Roof Inn. I was quite traumatized by the whole situation and I had my dog with me. The front desk was so kind to me and helped get me checked in that it took a lot of my anxiety away immediately. The staff that helped me get settled were wonderful and made me and my dog feel very comfortable. My dog is old and got into a very bad condition while I was there and everyone went out of their way to help me take care of her. It ended up that I only stayed one night but that time there certainly helped me get through a very rough time. 36 hours after I got home my sweet dog died lying next to me. The staff at the Inn and their kindness made it a lot easier for me to handle this loss. A great bunch of very hard working and caring people there and I would not hesitate to go there again or to send anyone there! Nice service. No complaints. The room was quiet and the smell of the restaurant was a pleasant luxury when going out to smoke. :) Clean and well run. A breath of fresh air!
