I wasn't expecting miracles on my shoestring budget but was pleasantly surprised by this charming old place. A mixture of old and new, with adequate comfortable facilities and really wonderful staff. The original Manor House built in 1894 by the car manufacturer William Hillman has been tastefully extended over the years to become the largest hotel in Coventry.
