The Salish Lodge & Spa is set in a dramatic setting of lush evergreen forests amidst the foothills of the Cascade Mountains and perched above a 268 foot crashing waterfall.
My husband and I have never stayed in a place this nice before so this was a real treat for us. Staff upgraded us to the penthouse suite with a balcony and views of the falls from every window. We were blown away by their willingness to go above and beyond on our behalf. While waiting for our things to be moved to our new room on the second day we were allowed to wait in the lounge with lots of goodies to eat and drink. I asked for extra bath salts and was brought more than I requested. The staff always had positive attitudes and friendly smiles. We noticed there were folks with dogs which thrilled us because when we stay here again we will bring our dog. These folks have hospitality down to a fine art! A five star lodge atop a premier US waterfall! Luxurious amenities. Staff is exceptional and the towns of Snoqualmie and North Bend (think Twin Peaks) are very special. All good.
