LIVING ROOMS: Two large living areas to relax. Makai (beach side) living area has huge comfy couch, two large side chairs with ottoman, and a 60' flat screen t.v. Grab a book from the extensive library or watch a DVD from the expansive collection. Several outdoor entertaining or relaxing areas provide quiet time and privacy for guests. KITCHEN: Entertain in the newly constructed, custom, high end gourmet kitchen. The chef in the family will love the fully equipped kitchen with Sub Zero Refrigerator/Freezer, Wolfe gas stove and oven, two additional Gaggenau ovens, wine fridge, dish washer, microwave and a variety of small appliances (coffee makers, blender, etc.). Sile Stone counters cover the island, peninsula, and counters. Use the large, deep kitchen sink while looking out of the picturesque window, or for convenience, the smaller island sink. The Neighborhood Private residential neighborhood. Our street is very friendly and aware of tourists visiting. There are a few other vacation rentals in the hood. It is a small street with about 11 homes on the private street. It is definitely quiet. The street is about a 30 minute walk into downtown Kailua. Kailua is flat and easy to get around on bikes and we have 2 bikes for your use. Other Things to Note The house can be totally locked and secured. The safety and security is very important.
