Really enjoyed my two nights at the hotel. Staff very helpful. Beautiful setting, comfortable rooms. Shendish manor is a splendid manor house set in 160 acres of idyllic Hertfordshire countryside. The well-appointed bedrooms and four poster suites have every modern facility including broadband internet access, flat screen TVs, hospitality trays and en-suite bathrooms. Many enjoy stunning views over the surrounding countryside. The conference and banqueting facilities can accommodate from 2 to 450 delegates with rooms in both the original manor house and new wing. The delightful new orangery restaurant provides an imaginative, European dining experience - exclusive private dining can be arranged in one of the elegant banqueting suites. The 5660 yard /par 70/ golf course on site is set with challenges through both parkland and woodland copses and provides a test of golfing ability regardless of handicap.
