MEHRANGARH FORT The historical significance of Mehrangarh Fort is no secret and the entire structure is no less than a masterpiece waiting to be explored. Standing 400 feet above the city, this magnificent fort was constructed in 1459 AD by Rao Jodha. The entire area is adorned with intricate Rajasthani carvings and ancient artefacts from the Mughal dynasty. This memorial site of the Rajput clan still stands strong and was built in the 19th century by Maharaja Sardar Singh. Also known as the 'Taj Mahal' of Mewar, this structure represents the true Rajasthani style of designs and motifs. CLOCK TOWER Located in the old city, Clock Tower is another brilliant site that needs to be visited at least once when you're in Jodhpur.
