Property Description

Nice hotel and location. Same as above. We decided to splurge with a one night stay at the Washington Duke. We were not disappointed. The staff was friendly from check in to check out and all the time in between. The standard king room was good sized and well appointed. Excellent service! Check in was easy, the bell captain on arrival was highly attentive, housekeeping was excellent, each day the room was cleaned as though I was checking in for the first day. Excellent upgrade in the fitness center. Located in the heartland of North Carolina, on the campus of Duke University, the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club is nestled into a 300-acre site, which includes the Duke University Golf Course and acres of tall pines and hardwoods. Built in the style of an old English country inn, the hotel lobby and hallways are graced with Duke family treasures and art. The Inn is known for its exceptional service and gracious southern hospitality.
